Beginning Friday, April 5, at 1 p.m., Whiteford Township residents can call MDHHS at 844-934-1315 to schedule an appointment for water sampling. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, April 12. Water sampling in the expanded area will begin Friday, April 5. Please click “Read More” to access the notice. Please note – the Monroe County Health Department has notified Whiteford Township that the State of Michigan is making phone calls on behalf of the MCHD, and will be doing so moving forward, to schedule appointments for water sampling. Smoke alarms and trigger locks are available through the Whiteford Township Fire Department. Please email ericholfd@gmail.com for more information. The smoke alarms were obtained through a grant and the trigger locks were donated to the fire department.
