Beginning Friday, April 5, at 1 p.m., Whiteford Township residents can call MDHHS at 844-934-1315 to schedule an appointment for water sampling. Appointments can be made Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, April 12. Water sampling in the expanded area will begin Friday, April 5. Please note – the Monroe County Health Department has notified Whiteford Township that the State of Michigan is making phone calls on behalf of the MCHD, and will be doing so moving forward, to schedule appointments for water sampling. The phone number will begin with 517 and most likely be 517-335-0002. Please be sure to answer if you see that number on your phone.
